Karen Robertson admired comics like Phyllis Diller, Bob Hope and Carol Burnett so she started her comedy career 8 years ago by taking classes from their writer Gene Perret.
She has performed at the Hollywood Improv, Pechanga Ballroom, ACES, many churches, and other venues. Karen was a finalist in the 3-day Clean Comedy Challenge at the Ice House in Pasadena just last month.
“I do comedy because laughter makes life fun. The Bible says, ‘The one enthroned in heaven laughs’ Psalm 2:4. If God laughs, so should we!”
The Clean Comedy Show at The Comedy Palace in San Diego is a "Fun-Raiser" for BRICK. Half the $20 ticket proceeds go to pediatric brain tumor research at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego.
